Average Costs

Costs vary depending on the main activities of the food forest. The below table shows the average implementation costs, we aimed at when applying for funding for the 0,5 ha FFC food forest in Phoenix Arizona. Our main challenge was the rising costs in infrastructure, especially for the irrigation system which was more than 4x the anticipated costs. On the other hand, we received plant donations which saved some costs, although to a small degree.
